Dr. Li has decades of experience in diagnosing and treating common diseases such as enlarged tonsils and adenoids, rhinitis and sinusitis, otitis media, congenital deafness, and cochlear implantation.
She specializes in the evaluation and treatment of laryngotracheal stenosis, malformations (laryngeal webbing, laryngeal fissure, etc.) and laryngeal softening. She is also an expert in the surgical treatment of gill slit cystic fistulas, pyriform fossa fistulas, thyroglossal cysts, and cervical vascular malformations (lymphangiomas, etc.).
Clinical experience:
Prior to joining Am-Sino, Dr. Li practiced in Shanghai Children's Hospital, Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, Chief Physician, Master's Tutor, sponsored by Pujiang Talent Program in 2007, in March 2009, she became the Chief Physician of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, Shanghai Children's Hospital, Director of the Department.
Education:
Dr. Li was graduated from the Department of Clinical Medicine of Shanghai Medical University (now Fudan University School of Medicine) with a Master's Degree in 1993, and was awarded the honor of Outstanding Contribution Young Researcher by the Society for Promotion of International Otorhinolaryngology (SPIO) for her research in Japan as a guest lecturer in 2003, and received the Scholarship of the Ministry of Health for one year's study in Japan in 2005, and was selected as a member of the Outstanding Young Physician Training Program of Shanghai Municipal Government. The same year, she was selected for the Shanghai Excellent Young Physician Cultivation Program.
Publication:
Dr. Li has devoted herself to the basic research of her specialty, and has been funded by the municipal and departmental funds for a number of projects. Currently, she has published more than ten papers in the core journals of her specialty as the first author, and three papers have been indexed in the SCI. She is the editor-in-chief of Chronic Pharyngitis and Chronic Rhinitis, and the co-editor of New Progress in Otorhinolaryngology 2005, New Progress in Otorhinolaryngology 2006, Cyclooxygenase and Tumor, and Clinical Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Oncology. Dr. Li serves as a member of the editorial board of Audiology and Speech Diseases, the corresponding member of the editorial board of the China Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery and the corresponding editorial board member of the Chinese Journal of Integrative Otorhinolaryngology and Chinese Journal of Integrative Otorhinolaryngology.
